Hello,

Welcome to the IRC, with mIRC script server. This is an addon which turns your mIRC
into an IRC daemon.

Unzip this file in a mirc folder without script, located at the root of your hard disk.
Then type /load -rs load.mrc.

This script should run with the release 5.51. If your mirc is too old, please update it at
http://www.mirc.co.uk.

This script has three main features:

1) It is an irc server, which makes you an irc administrator!

2) It contains a type Dalnet service which can be connected to the bot, giving you
the services of Chanserv/Nickserv bots.

3) It contains a guardian bot dedicated to the channel registration. This is also a clon,
having a specific behaviour. It can be controlled by any user of your server. Read the
yhelp.htm documentation about that. A direct help is also provided by the bot
( /msg Y help ).

There are 8 additional commands to the conventional command menu. These are:

- Local server (Open/Close): activate or deactivate your local irc server

- Eggdrop: allows you to launch the guardian bot.

- Link with server: the server is also linkable with an other one, or with services.

- Name Server: it allows you to change the name of your server. Do not forget to put
at least one dot inside your server name (Ex: my.Server.org )

- Javachat mode: when enabled, there can't be any op on the server, and nick changes are
impossible. This is useful if the server if reached via a java client.

- Services: it connects type Dalnet services.

- Unload script: unloads the server and the Dalnet services.

To become an ircop, type /oper ircop patrice . I dont know an easier way to do such
a thing!

I have added two other particular modes, which gives some unique features to this
server:

mode +s: type /mode yournick +s and the others won't see the list of chans
that you are currently on by performing a /whois on you.

mode +q: type /oper modeq patrice and then you'll become unkickable, undeoppable and
unkillable. This is specifically interesting for a channel service (like Y)

You can ask a friend to connect to your server by typing: /server <your ip address>
You obtain your ip address by typing /ipaddr on any edit box of your mirc.
If you are an aol user (as me) ask to your friend to type the following:
/server <your ip address> 7000 ; the port 6667 is unavailable on aol.

Have fun!

IRCOP COMMANDS

Being an ircop, you can:

kill sbdy (make him quit the server): /kill nick message

Obtain the op in any channel, or op/deop who you want without being a chanop, and even not
physically being on the chan.

Change the modes of a channel without being a chanop, and even not
physically being on the chan.

Change a nick into an other nick: /svsnick oldnick newnick

Quickly unban sbdy from a chan: /unban #chan nick

Join channels which are not joinable because of +f,+i,+k modes, and join chans where you are
banned.

See invisible nicks and secret channels

K-Line sbdy: /killban *user@host Ban message or /killban Nick Ban message

This function immediately performs a kill of anyone whose mask corresponds to the mask
specified in the killban. The informations related to killban are stored in the file
server/klined.txt.

Un-K-Line: the function /unkillban cleans up the k-lined database.
